Formative Years:

Aaron Winnenberg may be your stereotypical Pacific Northwestern artist from far away, but zooming in closer you’ll likely find all kinds of interesting quirks.

In his formative years, he spent his free time riding bikes, making music and painting, like most other PNW types.
The bikes were generally small enough to rough at the skatepark, or welded to be twice as tall as a conventional bike.
The music was abrasive enough to send crowds away rather than draw them in.
The paintings were often on surfaces that did not belong in galleries.

Years later, Aaron has significantly refined the quirks added to his every day life.
Instead of tall bike jousting and breaking ribs at the skatepark, he’s climbing and skiing sides of mountains.
Instead of playing music, he’s creating 3D art professionally for a game studio.
Instead of pushing his luck outside, he’s keeping the pigments in the art studio.

That’s not to say the formative years are gone for good.
The lasting impacts can be found in the content of his work and the moniker that he keeps to this day, EARCHZ.
